Hi there, friend.
I proofread: Teleplays and feature length scripts; college admission applications and essays; commercial websites; and marketing collateral.
See below for pricing and contact me here.
Born into a family of grammar snobs (Literature/English and law), I became managing editor of UR Magazine, continued proofing clients’ comprehensive works in advertising, and edit myriad manuscripts.
My goal is to provide you with “last looks” before you submit, print or publish material that has no room for grammatical errors.
I accept payments via Venmo, PayPal and Zelle. A succinct report summarizing hours and results is provided to each client prior to error delivery.
Formatted Scripts (TV & otherwise) under 60 pages: $80.
Formatted Scripts (Feature film & otherwise) under 130 pages: $140.
Hourly (College applications, essays, Websites, collateral): $80 for the first hour, $60 for each additional hour. Additional hours are billed in quarter increments. Correspondence with client is not billed.
Examples of correctable errors:
Usage (EG: They’re vs their)
Spelling
Capitalization
Punctuation (EG: Colon vs semicolon)
Punctuation, font and tense continuity
Preferential “errors” that I may still report:
Oxford commas
Ellipses
Traditional English usage (EG: Color vs colour)
Greeting styles
Intentional usage of slang and informal phrasing
I do not edit copy and I do not proofread fiction novels. I do, however, provide this service myself, directly from a gauche massage chair right here in the USA.
Recent clients (as of 12/24) include: Lentil Telepathy, Monteverde Ranch Equestrian Center, Oso Libre Winery and others.
When you send an inquiry, I’ll get back to you within hours, possibly within minutes.
Thanks?
Kevin
